This is a PART-TIME receptionist position.

The atmosphere here is relaxed and friendly, but there are some important qualities you must be able to bring to this job.

You must be a positive, upbeat, RELIABLE and PUNCTUAL people person who enjoys making people laugh and smile.

You must have the ability to multitask handling phone calls, booking new patient visits and follow-up visits, and taking great care of our patients in the office.

You must be able to follow directions, problem solve, multitask, and work well under pressure

Other skills that will help a LOT (but we will teach you if you’re a good fit personality-wise):

  • Good computer and typing skills

  • Organized and task oriented

Our work environment is relaxed but this is a patient-focused health clinic and we take our business very seriously, so please do not apply if:

  • you’re going to be asking for frequent time off

  • you have difficulty leaving personal problems outside the office door

  • are not a strong advocate of acupuncture

Again, to be clear, the position is part-time, however as the practice grows our hours will expand and there will be the potential to move to full-time. We are looking for someone who sees this as a potential LONG-TERM opportunity. PLEASE DO NOT apply if you’re looking at this as a short-term fill-in job while you look for “bigger things”. We want people who truly WANT to be part of our team and potentially for the long-term.

Hours are:


Monday, Tuesday, Thursday : Noon – 6:30 pm
Wednesday : 8am-1pm

Compensation:

Pay: $15/hour
2 free acupuncture treatments / month
Free herbal consultations

As our clinic practice grows more busy there will be room for increase pay as well as more hours.
